TLDR: This section guides users to upload 3, 6, or 12 months of bank statements as images or PDFs for each account involved in a transaction. Users select '+ Add Document,' choose 'Bank statement,' then upload files from their gallery, camera, or files. After confirming all pages are uploaded, they save and can add more documents before submitting all statements to complete the step. The required number of statements is specified in the app.
Uploading Bank Statements
During this section, you will be asked to provide 3, 6 or 12 months of bank statements for every account being used in the transaction (as pictures or PDF’s).
The number of statements required depends on what has been requested by the company that requested your check, this will be specified for you in the app.
Select ‘+ Add Document’ as shown below to get started. You will then be asked to select the document type, in this instance, select ‘Bank statement’ from the drop down.
Once you select this, you will be given further guidance on what to share. Select ‘+ Bank statement’ again at the bottom of the screen. ‘Save’ will remain greyed out until you supply the required documents.
You can upload images from your photo gallery, take new ones using your device camera, or upload a PDF from Files. Once you have added the required document, tick the box at the bottom of your screen to confirm you have uploaded all of the required pages for one bank statement.
Once you select ‘Save’ you will have the option to select ‘+ Add Document’ again to share further statements.
Once all documents have been shared, select ‘Submit documents’ to complete the step.
