TLDR: If your ID name has changed and you do not have an ID document with your current name on, you can still complete the ID check. The app will detect the name difference and prompt you to confirm your personal details. You may upload additional documents to verify your name change using the Optional Document Upload button if needed.
Name Changes
If the name on your ID has changed and you don’t have an ID document with your current name on it, do not worry, you can still complete your ID check.
The app will recognise that your name is different, and the ID check will stay in progress until you confirm the information mismatch. If you re-enter the ID check task, you will be prompted to check or update your information.

After completing this, you can then add any additional document(s) to show evidence of your name change using the Upload Optional Documents button if necessary. Please refer to our Upload Optional Documents article in ‘Troubleshooting’ if you need any further help with this.
