What information does Thirdfort verify?
Depending on the tasks assigned to you by the organisation that requested your verification, different information will be collected. Some of this information will be verified by Thirdfort and the remaining information will be presented to the organisation requesting your check for their review.
Address & proof of address
If you are asked to provide your address, Thirdfort will attempt to verify this to confirm you do reside at the address, provided if it is in a supported jurisdiction.
If we are unable to verify this, or the organisation requesting your check requires it, you will be asked to upload a document as your proof of address. Thirdfort does not verify you proof of address document; we directly submit this to the organisation requesting your check for their review.
ID
If you have been asked to verify your identity, Thirdfort will verify your identity document to confirm that it is valid and legitimate, and that it belongs to you. We compare your photo on your ID document with the liveness video you take within the App, if this is requested by the organisation you instruct.
Proof of ownership
If you have been asked to provide documents confirming ownership of a property, the documents you upload will not be verified by Thirdfort and will be submitted to the organisation requesting your check for their review.
Bank statements and source of funds information
If you chose to provide your bank statements as PDF statements or photos of paper statements, these will be submitted to the organisation requesting your check for their review.
If you have provided bank statements digitally via the open banking task, Thirdfort will compare this to the information provided on your source of funds questionnaire and perform analysis to highlight key points to consider to the organisation requesting your check for their review.
