Why am I receiving SMS reminder text messages?
Thirdfort send out text reminders for the organisation that requested your Thirdfort check. These are a helpful way to remind you to complete your check and ensure that the organisation receives all of the requested information as soon as possible to move ahead with your transaction.
There are a number of different reasons you may be receiving reminder messages at any one time:
Your check is incomplete:
As a first step, please re-open the app and double-check that ALL of your tasks are complete. Sometimes an additional task might be added to your home screen, we might need you to repeat a task or simply re-confirm your details. All of your tasks must be successfully completed for us to send your report.
Your check is processing:
Once you complete your tasks you will see a screen advising that your information is being processed. This normally takes a few minutes. If you continue to see the screen after 30 minutes please use our live chat in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and follow the options in regards to your check processing.
You've been invited to complete a new check:
The Thirdfort app allows multiple checks to be completed on one device using one number. Sometimes, if you have a partner or a family member who is completing a check, the organisation that requested your check will send both checks to one number. This is so that you can complete both checks on one device. Our guide here explains how you can swap between checks to access a new one on your device.
A duplicate check has been set up
On occasion, you may accidentally be invited to complete the same check twice for one transaction. If this is the case please contact the organisation that referred you to Thirdfort and they can close this on your behalf. The Thirdfort team cannot close a check on behalf of another organisation.
