TLDR: The section on Additional Income requires you to provide the annual amount, income description, and payment evidence. If you have no additional income, you can skip this step. If you do, select the income type, amount, frequency, and bank statement reference. Payment evidence is shared securely via Open Banking, and you can select or add a bank account for this purpose.
Additional Income
During this section, you will be asked to provide:
- The amount received each year
- Description of what the income is from
- Evidence of payments
If you do not receive any additional income, you can select ‘I don’t receive anything else’ to skip this section.
If you do receive additional income, select ‘Next’. You can then select what type of additional income you receive, how much you receive each year, how often you receive these payments, and what they will be referenced as on your bank statements.
Selecting an Account
After sharing details about the additional income, you will be asked to share evidence of the payments. This step uses Open Banking technology to allow you to quickly and securely share bank statements.
If you have already added an account in a previous section of the app, you will see it as an option available in the drop down list. If not, select ‘+Add new account’ on the drop down list, and then press ‘Continue’ at the bottom of the screen.
