TLDR: If you don't have a passport, you can complete an alternative ID check using another form of ID, such as a driver's licence. To do this, start the passport check, select "No I don't have one," then "Confirm identity another way." This cancels the passport task and provides a new ID task.
I don't have a passport
If you do not have a passport, you will have the option to complete a different ID check. As part of the other ID check you can use another for of ID, such as a driver's licence.
If you have a passport but don't have access to it at the time please complete your check with the passport when you have it.
How do I complete the other ID check?
To access the other ID check, please select to begin the passport check. You will then be asked if you have a passport. Please click 'No I don't have one' and then 'Confirm identity another way.'
You will then be returned to the task screen and be given a new ID task. The passport task will show as cancelled on your to-do list.
