TLDR: To verify your address, select 'Add a document' and upload a bank statement, council tax bill, or utility bill. Bank statements and utility bills must be dated within the last 3 months. Uploading other document types depends on the requesting company's acceptance. After selecting the document, choose your preferred upload method.
Choosing a proof of address document
After starting the task, you'll first be given the option to 'Add a document.' Please click 'Add a document' and you will then be asked to select what type of document you wish to upload.
When verifying your address, we recommend using 1 of the following documents:
A bank statement
A council tax bill
A utility bill
If you are using a bank statement or utility bill, this must be dated within the last 3 months.
If you upload an 'other' document, it is up to the company that requested your ID check if they are happy to accept this. You'll also be asked to enter what type of document you have provided.
