TLDR: When a Thirdfort check is created, the requesting company enters a name and reason, visible on your invite and transaction screen. If there are errors in these details, such as typos or incorrect addresses, they cannot be changed by Thirdfort but do not affect the completion or validity of the check.
Thirdfort Details
When your Thirdfort check is created, the company requesting your check enters a name and reason for the check e.g John Smith, Purchase of 1 Kings Street.
The details they choose to enter will be visible on your invite text, email and on your transaction screen when you sign into the app.
Incorrect Details
If the company requesting your check has made a mistake when setting up your check, this will be visible in the information you receive. For example, any typos in your name or the reason for the check, or your current address being used as the reason for a check instead of the address of the property you re purchasing.
These details cannot be changed by Thirdfort, but they will not impact your ability to complete the check. They exist only as a file reference for your check and have no impact on it.
