Recording your video
To complete your ID task, you will need to record a short video. This helps us carry out the facial similarity check to ensure you are a real person, and the ID document you have shared with us belongs to you.
To begin, press 'Start'. The video will not start recording immediately. You will see a short set of instructions.
When you are ready press 'Record video'. You will then see an oval on screen to position your face in. When you are in position, the instructions will appear automatically. Ensure no one else is visible in the video. You will be asked to turn your head to the side and then back to the front, as indicated by an arrow on screen. After this, you will see 3 numbers to read out loud. Try to hold your device as still as you can throughout the recording, you can rest it on a table/object in front of you if needed.
Submitting your video
After recording your video you have the option to re-take this if needed or you can submit it. Once submitted you will then have the option to return to your task list and complete any other tasks.
