TLDR: To take a selfie, click the blue 'Take selfie' button and align your face with the on-screen oval using your phone's front camera. Taking a selfie
After taking a photo of your ID you'll need to take a selfie. This is an image of your face, from the shoulders up. This is requested to carry out a facial similarity check, and verify that the ID you are sharing in the app does belong to you.
When taking the selfie you will need to hold the phone at an arms length straight in front of you. To start, click the blue 'Take selfie' button.
The camera on the front of your phone will then open. You will have as much time as you need to take the photo. Align your face with the oval that appears on screen, ensuring no one else is visible in the background. When you are in position, press the white button to take the selfie.
Uploading your selfie
After taking your selfie, you will have the option to review and re-take this if needed. When you are happy with the photo you have taken, please press the blue 'Upload photo' button.
