Scanning your passport photo page
After confirming you have a passport, you'll then be asked to take a photo of the photo page of your passport. You'll see instructions on screen and the option for 'Next.' Please press 'Next' and your camera will then open to photograph the passport.
The photo page is the shiny page showing your photo, name and other details.
To complete this, hold your phone horizontally to match the passport. Hold the phone 20-30 cm away from the passport, so that the box on the screen lines up with the photo page.
Submitting your passport photo page
When the scan is in progress, you will see a green box appear around your ID. You'll also see a progress bar on screen whilst the scan completes.
After the app has completed your scan, you'll see the photo that has been taken on screen. Please press 'Next' to submit this.
