TLDR: To verify your address, select 'Add a document' and upload a bank statement, council tax bill, or utility bill. Bank statements and utility bills must be dated within the last 3 months. Your council tax bill can be your most recent annual bill. After selecting the document, choose your preferred upload method.
Choosing a document to verify your residential address
After starting the task, you'll first be given the option to '+Add Image/Document.' Please select this and you will then be asked to select what type of document you wish to upload on the next screen. You can see all the options by tapping on the arrows to open the drop down list.
When verifying your address, we recommend using 1 of the following documents:
A bank statement
A council tax bill
A utility bill
If you are using a bank statement or utility bill, this must be dated within the last 3 months. A council tax bill should be your most recent annual statement.
Please ensure the document has your name and address clearly visible.
