How to successfully provide your selfie
Step 1:
After photographing your ID you will automatically be taken to the next stage to provide your selfie. The Thirdfort app will advise you on how to best position yourself to take your selfie. When you are ready to begin please select 'Take Selfie.'
If you need your glasses to see the screen there is no need to remove them.
Step 2:
Once you have selected to take a selfie your device's front-facing camera will then open. You will see a white oval on the screen. Please align your face with this oval, and when ready press the white button on the screen to take your selfie.
Once your selfie has been uploaded you will automatically be taken to the final stage to provide your video.
How to successfully record your video
Step 1:
Once you have uploaded your selfie the app will automatically take you to the next stage to record your video. On-screen you will see an example of someone completing the task and some guidance on how to complete this.
When completing the video you will be asked to move your head in a direction indicated by an arrow on the screen, and then asked to read out loud 3 numbers that appear on the screen.
When you are ready to begin please press 'Record video.' After this you will be asked to 'Enable Microphone,' this is to allow us to record the numbers you speak out loud and complete the task.
Step 2:
Once you have enabled your microphone your front-facing camera will open again, and you will see the white oval again to align your face with.
Once you have positioned your face in the oval the task will begin and advise you on-screen which direction to turn your head and which numbers to read out loud.
When you have completed both actions you will then be given the option to upload your video or re-record it if needed.

Once your video is uploaded you will then be given the option to go 'Back to tasks.' You can then finish any remaining tasks, or if this was your last task you will see that this is processing ahead of being shared with the organisation that requested your check.
