What device can I use to complete my check?
You can complete your check on any device that supports apps. This could be a smartphone, an iPad or a tablet. We support both Android and iOS (iPhone) operating systems.
Do I have to complete my check on the phone that received the text invite?
No! You can use any device that is compatible with the app to complete your check. This could be your smartphone, a family member's or friend's smartphone, an iPad or a tablet. Once you have downloaded the app on your chosen device, please input your mobile number (this is your username). You can then input the 6-digit verification code that we text you back into your chosen device.
Can I use a PC or Mac?
To complete your Thirdfort check this requires a smart device, such as a smartphone or tablet. Your verification check cannot be done on a PC, laptop or Mac.
Using an app is typically more secure than sending this via a desktop device and allows us to ensure that all the information you provide is secured with end-to-end encryption.
