I've been asked to share my bank statements
As part of your transaction, you may be asked to provide bank statements via Thirdfort. The company that referred you to Thirdfort may need these to verify your funds, or to check for any sign of suspicious activity.
What will I have to provide?
As part of the Share Bank Statement task, you'll be asked to provide 6 months of bank statements for any account you are using in your transaction. For instance, if you have moved money from a current account into a savings account, both accounts would need to be included.
How does the task work?
If you use online banking you'll have the option to select your bank, then sign into your bank to share a statement from your account. This allows you to share a statement without having to download one or print one off.
Thirdfort doesn't see any of your login details when you sign into your bank, and we only receive a read-only statement, for the last 6 months. The statement generated is the same as if you had printed a statement and handed it to the company requesting your check.
